IMPETUS Internship
Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution
​

  • Used Maya and Substance Painter to create a 3D Model of a coral polyp and animate it to the labs to research on how the polyp grows and present it at the end of the internship

 

  • Research how coral grows and study specific species of coral for reference​​

 

  • Helped the lab collect coral cores for a research study

BGD Alumni Scholar STEM Leadership Fellow

Black Girls Dive Foundation

  • Support BGD scholars with understanding and applying STEM concepts to complete projects.

​ 

  • Assists BGD scholars in acclimating to being away from home and settling into day-to-day activities. Enforces BGD rules and regulations, as outlined in the Student Code of Conduct

 

  • Remain available to BGD scholars while on expeditions and capstones, Assists in supervising BGD Scholars and responding to complaints, reports, requests, and emergencies.

Lifeguarding

American Pool

  • Ensuring the safety of all the guests in the pool and enforcing all of the rules of the pool and Ensuring and maintaining the cleanliness of the pool deck and pool

  • Maintains a strong proficiency in CPR, First Aid, and the American Red Cross-rescue techniques to provide optimal support to individuals in distress

 

  • Work with a team of 2-4 lifeguards to ensure the safety of the residents

Arts and Crafts Camp Counselor

UMBC Summer Day Camp

  • Created arts and crafts for themed weeks that matched the activities that the kids did each week
